Located on a narrow strip of land between Beverly Lake (on the
north) and Kalmbach Lake (on the south). The cache is a small ammo
can.
Both lakes are stocked and have good populations of rainbow
trout and landlocked salmon. The lakes are home to loons, beavers
and other wildlife. As usual during summer in Alaska, don’t forget
to bring the bug repellant.
To get to the parking area: At mile 48.7 Parks Highway, go north
on Pittman Road 1.4 miles to Beverly Lake Road and turn right.
Drive 3.1 miles to the public access parking area and trailhead.
The trail is 0.3 mile to the lakes.
