Geocache Description:

Off to Cripple Cove...


I would like to invite everyone to come visit the Eisberg at Cripple Cove. I have hiked this particular leg of the ECT quite a few times now, every time, see something new or collect an interesting story about the region. Depending the season, you can spot almost anything... sea birds, icebergs and all sorts of flora and fauna unique to this magnificent micro-chasm. Spooks and ships alike have been spotted, shipwrecks and sailors too. It is a short distance, however, don't let the mileage fool you... As the eagle flies, we must hike. I would recommend you take a friend, some water perhaps, a snack or two, maybe a meal with the view. The initial coordinates will take you to a mark, you will not be far from the cache, pause... and think... It won't be far from the trail, don't overstep. The cache itself is a custom ammo-box, clearly identified as a Geocache. It's contents will be of the usual nature, and a few other gratuities. Please help yourself to the CITO gear, you never know when there might be visiting dignitaries.

The cache itself is a slim type ammo box custom painted, to blend in with its habitat as well as to be clearly identified as a Geocache.
