Just a small cache at the Blue Lake boat access. There is private property all around, so the only access to this lake is by very small boat, and that’s probably the only good view of it, too! This is a nice peaceful lake. I’ve fished on it a couple times in a rowboat. That’s about the biggest boat you’ll want to try to put in here, as there is no dock, and the access spot is VERY shallow. This is a day-use only lake, and the public access is by permission of the land owners. Please treat it with respect. There have been a lot of caches pop up around here in the last year, so check for them before you head out. Make a day of it! You’ll see some VERY beautiful country!
DIRECTIONS: You can take the Eastside Road from the Priest River bridge on hwy 2 all the way up to the Blue Lake Rd. The cache is only about 1 ½- 2 miles up off the Eastside Road. OR you can take Hwy 57 up to the Peninsula Rd, take a right on that, and after you cross the Priest River take a right on the Eastside Road Cutoff Rd, and then another right onto the Eastside Rd. It makes a loop back to the Priest River bridge on Hwy 2.
