You can park at the obvious spot and hike from there.
or...you can attempt the four-wheeling !
Placed in the Menantico Ponds WMA, this small cache is placed at the spot where you catch the first view of the marvelous and fantastic blue water.
The road to the cache is BRUTAL. Only serious 4x4 enthusiasts should attempt to get to this by vehicle. STAY TO THE RIGHT ON THE WAY IN !!!!!!!!!!!!
At first the road may be deceiving, but it gets much worse.
Please use common sense and know your vehicles limits.
You can bag two caches on this side of the ponds now, this one and my other one, Mission Impossible 2- Audrey's Awesome Adventure.
I absolutely recommend this cache to anyone who loves to hike. It is a stellar area and really needs to be preserved better than it is. ( CITO )
