Capt. Bill has recently started playing golf. Very
recently, so his game is still a horror show. Nonetheless, he
does enjoy smacking the little white ball around. This is an open
invitation to all you geo-golfers out there to sail over to Salem
and have some fun on the course.
The golfing portion of the event will be held at Meadowlawn Golf Course. This is an 9-hole executive
course (short holes) located right off I-5 and Highway 22 in Salem.
The cost is $14 for nine holes. Club rental is available for $5 for
nine holes.
We will not be coordinating the tee times but we highly
recommend grouping up into foursomes. Notes can be posted on this
cache page to help with that effort. Reservations for tee times
(recommended) can be made after the 1st of July @ (503) 363-7391.
The last time Capt. Bill played here it took him about 1 hour and
45 minutes. He will be aiming for a 10:00 AM tee time.

At 12:30 PM, we will be sailing over to Lefty's Pizzeria for a different kind of slice and
some geo-chat. Lefty's serves tasty pizza and runs some great
specials. Capt. Bill has spoken with their crew and they will be
holding the lower floor area for us.
