Easy downtown Bothell walk, practice compass skills!
This cache is a small red bison tube. You will need your own pen/pencil to log it. To find the cache, The listed coordinates will lead you to a way point, not the cache. You should find THREE steel letters underfoot. If you have doubts, they are the most obvious ones. Use the following key to figure out compass heading and distance to the final cache! Both heading and distance in feet are derived from the same THREE letters that you found; notice the keys are different.
COMPASS HEADING:
A=8; B=5; C=4; D=1; E=4; F=7; G=1; H=4; I=0; J=2; K=5; L=1; M=9; N=3; O=3; P=7; Q=0; R=2; S=5; T=2; U=9; V=3; W=6; X=4; Y=8; Z=6
DISTANCE IN FEET:
A=1; B=3; C=6; D=7; E=0; F=5; G=4; H=6; I=9; J=5; K=8; L=8; M=2; N=1; O=4; P=9; Q=3; R=0; S=4; T=6; U=2; V=2; W=7; X=3; Y=1; Z=0
To find the final cache, stand ON the letters you found, and either use your gps unit's interesting capabilities/features or (I recommend) an engineer's compass to sight the location of the cache; or any combination of both. Finding the tube is a little tricky but somewhat like fishing! (no, it is nowhere near in or around water)
