EagleRockRob: This has been disabled since the Fall of 2019 because of construction. It is hard to tell if construction will ever end and if so whether there will be a good hiding place The point of the original cache placement is now moot, as far as I can tell. Time to say goodbye.

Geocache Description:


I wanted to place a cache near the FCC towers in my home town, off El Reposo, but you can't get very close (maybe a cache for another time).

But from this location, you have a great view of the Las Flores (GCAA38) cache, which has great logs, with a surprise or two, and great photos (including some of mine from March 15, 2005). Sadly that cache was archived 3/22/09, but you still have a fine Las Flores Trail view (when there is no smog).

There are two sets of picture windows nearby, so a bit of stealth is a good idea.

June 2020 Update: Construction is taking forever, so I am putting out a temporary cache (with some swag in it) inside the top of a very large pipe, about 5 1/2' high.
