Geocache Description:

The wire here was put here by the BLM when they finished an experimental forest project farther up the mountain. They do have plans to remove it.

Here you will see some beautiful rock outcroppings that take a fine photo, but some turd decided that it was also a great place to dump their wire fencing GRRRRRRRRRRrrr

. We need to be as good of stewards of the forest while we are there to show to the lumber companies that they can leave a road system open, and we won't dump crap on it. Beyond the huge rolls of wire, this place is awesome. You will have to climb the rock wall to the top, and the skirt the rim to get to the cache site, but I did it and I'm fat, old, and a smoker. So you should have no problems with it. Just be safe. Some of the caches that we placed up here are abit harder than the normal Geogold caches, but these are the kind that we really enjoy to do. So we are placing some for you folks to enjoy. DONT forget your camera. You can either drive all the way to the rock wall if your vehicle has high clearance, or you can park at the pullout and walk the short distance up to it. I made it with my 2 wd truck. The FTF is a gemstone. Have fun, but please be safe.
