Backcountry Bubblebaths Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Trail Reader: With a heavy heart I request that Backcountry Bubblebaths be archived. It was the first cache I hid and my farthest hike-to. I wish that I were able to replace the cache, but I am no longer in physical condition to do so. Awww ...those were the golden years. Thanks to the brave souls who visited! Archive.

Geocache Description:

Bubblebaths in the backcountry? Two-tubs-no-waiting luxury with no need for a shower curtain!

Discovered this unmaintained cattle trail which loops around the northern side of the base of Doud Peak while returning from Ariel on legs that just couldn't take another climb. Near its junction with the Doud Peak Trail, two claw-footed wonders have been placed, I would assume, as cattle watering troughs. The vegetation which now sprouts from their depths indicates that perhaps it's been a while since four-footers have been this way.

The cache is a camouflaged, bullet-shaped paintball container approximately eight inches long. It contains small trade items, as well as a log and pen.
