Geocache Description:

This cache involves finding the letters for, and solving a basic word puzzle. It is part of the Yarra Scramble series. Each of the Yarra Scramble caches uses a similar style puzzle to find coordinates. See Yarra Scramble 1 for more details.

This cache can easily be done by finding a convienient parking spot and walking.

This cache has 2 waypoints at which you will find a hidden plastic letter. Finding the letters is important to take you to the next and ultimately the final waypoint.

First Letter

You will find the first letter at the posted coordinates.
Z=the letter's position in the alphabet where an A is position 1, a B=2, ..., Z=26. For example, if the letter you found was Z, this is letter number 26 in the alphabet which gives Z=26.

Second Letter

The coordinates for the 2nd waypoint are:
S 37 50.0(Z-1)
E 144 59.(35*Z + 11)

Cache Location

You now have 2 letters. Unscramble the letters to make a word that is in alphabetical order.
Now, using the key A=1, B=2, C=3, ...., Z=26, convert the word to a number 3 digits long.
Y=the 3 digit number key you just worked out
The cache is at:
S37 49.(8*Y+23)
E144 59.(3*Y+75)

The cache is a 200ml Sistema Cliptop container and does not contain a pen.
