From 5/10/10-June 2011 the access path from the River Greenway
will be closed due to the Maplecrest Road extension. Cache is only
accessible via the river. Cache replaced 5/9/10 via the river. Have
fun.
This is my second try at a cache in this location. This cache
was a waterproof lexan container. It is now an ammo can with room
for trade items. The container is chained to a tree to keep it from
floating away in floods.
Just like my Pay-It-Forward cache, this cache is going to
require a hike. In the waypoints section of this page I have the
place where I crossed over from the River Greenway over to the
peninsula where the cache is at. If you cross over there, it's
about a 2 mile hike from the parking lot on North River Road to the
cache site. Make sure that you wear long pants, I didn't and I
regret it.
The container is well-stocked, and contains a FTF GeoTreasure
for the first adventurer to make it to the cache.
