Geocache Description:

I have to admit that I “borrowed” this idea from another cacher, but I enjoyed it so much I wanted to share it with others. (Special thanks to cacher “pzpz” in Roseburg.) There is plenty of parking just a short distance from the cache. This can be a very busy place at times, but most visitors are headed to the beach, so you should be able to go undetected on most occasions.

* NOTE: WATER IS NOT NEEDED IN THE RETRIEVAL PROCESS FOR THIS CACHE, SO PLEASE KEEP THINGS DRY. * This is a two-stage multi with a little twist. At the first stage, you will find a tool needed to retrieve the final cache a short distance away. Be careful, the bank can be slippery and if you fall, the landing will be wet. The coordinates at the final cache location are a bit jumpy due to the trees overhead, but if you look for something that doesn’t belong there (and use the hint, if needed), you’ll be fine. The cache is about 20 feet off the trail, and there is no need for a lot of bushwhacking, so if you find yourself doing so, you’re in the wrong spot. Once you get there, it should be easy to figure out what to do to grab the cache. Remember, not everyone catches a fish on their first attempt, but be patient and you’ll be successful. Bring your own pen, and please make sure the final cache container is replaced exactly the way it was when you found it. Also, don’t forget to return the retrieval tool to the first stage container, so that it will be ready for the next cacher.
