This geocache is located at the entrance to the "Laurel" picnic/recreation area of Tilden Regional Park, which is in the hills above Berkeley. There are hiking trails on both sides of the road. The access road, South Park Drive, is closed for vehicular traffic from November through April, although pedestrians and bicycles are still allowed during those times.
The cache is a small metal container, contained in a somewhat larger camouflaged item. It is located near the intersection of the "Tower" trail and the "Golf Links" trail.
