These days I'm going to school to get my high school teaching credential. Granted, it will be in math, but still, I always loved my high school English classes because I love to read. I'm hoping this cache will generate some reading material!
The cache has an additional logging requirement. No, I won't delete your log if you don't do it, but I hope you will. What I want in your log is a link (or the actual text) of a favorite short story or poem. Here, I'll start: that great short story, Gift of the Magi, by O. Henry.
NOTE: There is a lot of construction going on for the new Trader Joe's, and the access information given below is temporarily not valid. It is still possible to access the path where this cache is, but that access point is currently closed (as of October 2009). I will update this when that access point reopens..
The cache is on a bicycle path that runs between Palo Alto High School and the railroad tracks. It is fenced on both sides, PLEASE do not attempt to get there from the tracks or the school. A convenient entrance to the path can be found at N37 26.301, W122 09.391 - park in the shopping center. It shouldn't be tough to find, but the area will be very busy right before and after school, so be forewarned. Please rehide well - this is a well-traveled path!
