- 6:00 PM "Meet and Treat" Event!
The
Tallahassee Area Geocachers (TAG) will be holding a
Geocaching.com event (Meet and Treat) at Lake Lafayette
Heritage Park (Piney Z Lake) on Sunday, July 8,
2007 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Come meet and talk
with other area geocachers about all things geocaching.
While doing so, enjoy a cold treat courtesy of
TAG.
Lake Lafayette
Heritage Park (Piney Z Lake) is located at the end of Heritage
Park Boulevard at N30° 26.391, W084° 11.527. This park
offers a playground, restroom facilities, hiking trails, a lake
with fishing areas, and even caches to enjoy before or after the
event!
Coinciding with this event, TAG will be unveiling
their first pathtag. This is the official
2007 TAG Pathtag. Preorders previously placed at
the TAG forums (http://www.TAGFLA.com) will be
honored first. Remaining pathtags will be available for
sale at the event.
