This one first appeared at the 2007 WGA campout and it was such a
bugger that most people didn't find it. The first (and one of very
few) cachers to do so was labrat_wr and I'm dedicating this cache
to him.
I'd been looking for a suitable spot for this one and had a couple
options in mind when I happened to take the Seldom Seeds to Plamann
Park to launch the older Seed's model rocket. It is a 2-stager and
when the first stage hit the ground it landed very near this spot.
I wont talk about the upper stage landing except that I had to
climb a 50' Red Maple with a limb saw the following day to get it
down. Ever vigilant for potential hiding spots, I had to scope this
area out. The first thing that caught my eye was the "ants on a
log" at ground zero. I've never seen an anthill quite like this and
that's when I realized this might be the right spot for this cache.
You are looking for a 35mm container. Please be VERY mindfull of
the local inhabitants, you wouldn't want to feel their wrath!
