Geocache Description:

This is a cache intended to be a rest stop for travel bugs and coins to stop for awhile. It is also at a place many geocachers will find at similar caches across the US

Geocachers, Travel bugs and Geocoins Welcome to NC!
The cache placer built this site because there is no offical stopping place for geocachers or even muggles where one would expect a rest stop to be. The Cache is 9mm "slimjim" ammo can that is camo painted. It has a log, a pen and a few trade items. Everyone is invited to drop by even if you do not have a "buggy or shiny coin friend" to drop off. This cache site has a sister cache site nearby see waypoint GC13W86 for a 2 caches in one trip possiblity.

I have a new cache motto/request "Please take the time to re-hide the find" so that muggles will not see it exposed on the ground for all to see. (See log for August 10, 2007)

Congrads to Ranger "Lighting McQueen" Fox as FTF within a fairly short time this cache went active. Note The Uncle John TB are listed but went AWOL sometime in the summer of 2007
In March of 2008 jcplusyou moved out of the area. Second Chances a local fellow geocacher is going graciously adopted all the sites. Thanks for continuing the cache!
