This cache is on the public footpath known as The Jorvik Way which is a footpath running from York to Oxton. This section runs through Westfield Wood.
Access to Westfield Wood is on 54. 00.437 / 001.04.852 This will lead you to the foot path to Westfield Wood, from Wigginton. At the sign posts, where the metal kissing gates are turn right. Follow the path till you find the cache site.
At times this path is muddy if there has been heavy rain. Beware of Muggles walking dogs, there is often a dog walker, but not a constant stream of them, so you should get plenty of time.
The cache is on the farmland side of the path, but you do not need to stray into any fields (nor wade through any deep dikes - but hey, that's up to you)
