This cache is on the Lake Huron shoreline and shows a beautiful view of Saddlebag Island and the surrounding area!
There are two ways to get to this cache. If you are in for a three mile hike (a mile and a half there and back), you can follow the hiking trail from the DeTour State Forest campground beach. The trail starts near the beach, by the edge of the woods and follows the beach west... -or- you can travel there by Gardner Lane (located about a mile west of the DeTour State Park) drive straight through until the road stops, and continue in that direction on foot through the woods towards the beach and follow the beachline east (this is a much shorter route). This cache is a little tricky to locate for some, you might want to check the hint/spoiler to ensure a find!
