Geocache Description:

Our testimony to the "pound" is that of a Dachshund named "Brownie" and boxer named "Kawliga". We adopted Brownie for a second animal in our home to give our other dog a play mate. Little did we know that he would not only be a watchful dog for our daughter, but a "heater" for some of our few cold nights. He has also played a role in saving our daughter's life from a accident in the home, so he has become like a son to us. Kawliga on the other hand was on his way to this place and we talked the original owners out of it. He was only a pup when Hurricane Rita hit us, but now he is a beautiful strong boy!

I have learned much from this organization, and volunteer with 3 other groups every Saturday at our local store for the adoption purposes of these homeless creatures. Also you can visit www.LAPAW.org to see the animals online or www.petfinder.com to find a pet of your own for adoption.
