This cache is placed as part of a mystery cache. You can find the "Official" parking area for this State Game Lands at the these coords, N40 42.929 W76 00.665. Cache is about .6 mile from parking lot. Please use extreme caution and DO NOT do this one alone! The terrain is very steep at spots and rocky. This is perfect terrain for rattlesnakes and copperhead snakes. Please mark parking coords for your return trip. It is very easy to get turned around on this mountain. Do not attempt this cache during the Archery, Muzzleloader and Rifle seasons. This area is HEAVILY hunted during those seasons. Now onto the cache.
As kids, we used to go camping here all the time. Placing this hide was the first time, in about 13 years, since I was here. The wood that we cut for firewood is still stacked. The container is a .30 cal. ammo can. The hide is relatively easy to find. Tree cover in the spring and summer might be a problem. Inside the log book cover you will find a word written. Take note of this word, you will need it to find the mystery cache. There are a total of four caches with varous words written inside the lid. You will need to find all four (GC13TA2, GC13T9W, GC13YHZ, GC13YJ1) in order to complete the mystery cache (GC13YJ3).
