Skamania Travel Lodge

INTERPRETIVE CENTER

We decided it would be nice to place a Travel Lodge along Highway 14 in the Stevenson area. This is a quick detour off the highway with enough seclusion to examine the “Travelers” and make your trades.  Container is a large ammo can, to allow for a kid friendly geoswag stop. We love the history of this area and hope you have the time to check out the Columbia River Gorge and how it has played a part in the history of the Pacific Northwest. The Travel lodge is available 7-24 from the following suggested parking coordinates N 45.41.507, W 121.53.769. (Closer parking is available from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.) If you start at the suggested parking coordinates, walk southwest along the sidewalk a short ways. When you reach the “Trail to Main Entry”, let your GPS lead the way. Discover and enjoy. Bonus: If you start at the suggested parking location you will pass by “Lookin Thru Me”, a microcache.
THERE IS NO NEED TO TRAVEL THRU THE BLACKBERRY BUSHES!!!
