Dear Cacher,

If you have started this series of caches hoping for a simple and fun cache, I am afraid you have picked the wrong series of caches altogether. As you know, even things that start out pleasant, say a drive through the county on the way to pick fresh berries, can end very poorly indeed. Although during this cache you will not encounter a car accident, a terrible odor, a long knife or a large brass reading lamp, do not be fooled in complacence – a word which here means, thinking that things will turn out good and happy just because you are not a Baudelaire orphan. However, you may encounter a deadly viper, a mournful location, and a cache you hope to never see again. I am bound to record this cache but you are free to ignore this hide altogether and seek something better.
