A regular size cache hidden at a Park & Ride at the intersection of US Route 1 and Maryland Route 24 north of Bel Air, MD, near the Rock Spring Shopping Center.
This park and ride has been crying out for a cache, and so I have supplied it with a short multi-stage cache for the commuting geocacher. However, the original ammo box went missing o/a 22 July 2007. So, I have modified this multi-stage cache from one to two stages. The coordinates for the first stage are listed in plain sight at the above coordinates. There is no need to open up anything or otherwise disturb the object at the starting coordinates. These coordinates will take you to the site of the original cache (Version 1.0). Instead of a cache, you will now find a small block of wood lying on the ground. The coordinates for the second (and last stage) are written on the block. When you are done reading the block, please put it back face down. The cache is located within walking distance. You will not have to cross any roads to get to it.
For those who have found Version 1.0, please consider Version 1.1 a brand new cache. Just go straight to where Version 1.0 was located and take it from there.
In the Version 1.0 cache, there were various road maps that were lying around my office. At the moment, I do not have any trade items for Version 1.1. Like Version 1.0, there is room in Version 1.1 for geocoins and travel bugs looking for a nice place to rest for the night.
UPDATE (9 July 2010): It seems that the block of wood has gone missing. So, I am going to go ahead and put the information that was on the block of wood into the cache description and create a Version 1.2.
