A bit of a rough trail up and over a ridge. Closest parking is in Equestrian Lot at Rancho Sierra Vista.
The Chick is one of our most beloved local cachers, who has set a high bar with her creative swag-filled theme hides. This cache was disturbed by the May 2013 fire so I've replaced it with a decon. Please bring pink-themed small items, or don't trade at all - just sign the log. Park in equestrian lot on your right as you come into Rancho Sierra Vista off Lynn Rd at Via Goleta, and pick up the trail on the s. end of the lot. Past the bridges, take the right-hand fork. In about 1/10 mile, you'll reach a junction w/a trail climbing a ridge on your left. Take that trail to a saddle, and access the cache from there. PLEASE be careful of pioneer plants growing after the fire, and take different paths so as not to create a geo-trail.
