To celebrate our son's 3rd birthday we took the boys on a bike ride along the Eklutna Lakeside trail. The trail is easy with little elevation gain, and is suitable for pulling bike trailers.
One of our son's favorite activities is skipping stones into lakes and streams. The location of this cache is a perfect spot to stop and let the kids strech their legs, enjoy the view, and have a snack. It would also make a nice place to stop and skip stones into the lake. This spot would be an excellent turn-around point or you could continue on to the end of the lake. There's a great spot to camp (or enjoy a picnic) near the airstrip, where you can also find the cache Bold Find. Have fun!
