Wingfield Buffaloes of Cannon's Ferry
Headquarters of the Windfield Buffaloes, Co. E, 1st NC Volunteer U.S.Army. During the Civil War local Federalists referred to them as their "home guard thieves". A quiet spot along the Chowan River. Read the history and enjoy the peace and quiet.
