Off to the Woods Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

MI_Troll: I checked on the cache yesterday because it was brought to my attention that Stage 2 was missing. Sure enough it was gone. I found Stage 1 in place, but the final was uncovered. As I entered the area for the final, I was aware of three newly planted small trees which had pink flags to keep people from walking over them. They were right where geocachers would tend to walk with their children and dogs. So I made the decision to pull the whole cache out of Dicken Woods. Thanks to all who visited my cache!

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This multi-cache is located in the Dicken Woods Nature Area where wood chip trails make for easy walks over gently rolling terrain. Permission has been given by the Natural Area Preservation (NAP) services which requests that you use the established trails. Parking is on the street at the end of Dicken Drive off S. Maple Rd.

This cache has three stages. The first two are reachable without stepping off the trail and are small containers just big enough to hold small swag to trade. The coordinates for the next stages are on a laminated card in each container. The last stage will take you about thirty feet off the trail.

The final cache is a large pretzel jar. Please beware of the muggles who frequent these trails either walking or running.
