A sign-only camoed micro near one of the big objects in this field. Bring your own pen.
Located in the field between the parking lot and the start of the trail. This cache is near the location of the first stage of the now archived Rocky Start cache.
The difficulty rating should be about right as originally hidden. For the hunting pleasure of the next cacher, please re-hide the cache as you found it. We'll monitor logs to see if an adjustment in rating is appropriate.
8/24/07 Note: Based on early logs, have lowered the difficulty slightly to 2.5. However, if the cache is not rehidden well, as it wasn't after the first couple of finds, the difficulty easily drops to about 1.5. Please use the natural materials to rehide the cache as well as or better than when you found it.
8/11/08 Note: Original cache has apparently been muggled, but has now been replaced. PLEASE re-hide the cache well using the natural camo materials. If not hidden well, the cache is too easily spotted by muggles, as apparently happened to the original.
10/22/11 Note: After the latest cache disappeared, but an earlier one reappeared in a nearby location, decided to let that be the new location. Hint and coords have been updated for the new location.
2/22/12 Note: Cache has once again disappeared. Perhaps the new location was not so good after all, or perhaps a local "resident" cleaned up and slipped the cache down to the cellar. Regardless, we'll try one more time. Cache has been moved a short distance away and hidden slightly differently. Hint and coords have been updated.
