Geocache Description:

This cache was placed to commemorate the second Geocaching Focus Course conducted by the Brisbane State Emergency Service. The Focus Courses started last year and introduced members to Geocaching, its terms and basic functionality of the units GPS receivers. The second course was for registered members and anybody who had undertaken the first course. This course was held around Mt Cootha and involved tracking down a mixture of live caches and a number of other caches placed by the likes of WitchPig, Wingaap and Rastas000.

The course was enjoyed by most, the hills were despised by most (mental note if you are placing a commemorative cache do it at the start of the day - it will be placed further up the hill that way). Needless to say a group of 8 members braved the hills after 5 hours of enduring them to help me place this cache for the rest of the Geocaching community to enjoy. We must thank Nasty Steve and family for donating a number of the swaps.
