High Society Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Klever Boys: We popped out this afternoon to take a look at the area after the ground clearing work.
As others have noted, the area has been scalped and pretty much all of the natural cover has now gone.

It may have been possible to replace it with something like a micro (although can't even see a decent place for one of those!), but our concern is that anyone searching for it will now be in full view of a building full of people, which really isn't acceptable.

It looks like we will have to pull the plug on this one I'm afraid, but at least it gives me a spare ammo can to place out as a new cache!

Thanks for all those who have visited.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located very close to the spot where HM The Queen opened the Peterborough Business Park on 20th May 1988 as noted by the nearby inscription that you will probably spot during your visit.

Handy for those visiting the nearby East Of England Showground, the container you seek is a suitably-labelled ammo box and so has plenty of room for swaps, Travel Bugs and coins.
There is good, ample car parking close by at the co-ordinates supplied and the cache is only several minutes walk away and is suitable for less able-bodied cachers. If you choose to park at these co-ordinates, follow the footpath that is roughly opposite the pub.

The cache is located on private ground, and we have the full permission and support of the nearby company for its placement and the night security guard is also aware of its existence, although watch out for people walking past the area during the day.
The cache can easily be reached without straying from the public paths and so mud, etc, won't be a problem.

Happy Hunting!
