Drive to the Gorge Trail head at Crocker's Road in Corner Brook. Follow the trail toward the lookout.
We named this cache after Algar, our golden retriever. He loved to go on this trail in all seasons so we thought it was a good place to remember him. He died on June 27, 2007. When placed it contained a logbook, a game, 2 small books, 1 golf ball and some special dog treats. It is in a 2 litre ice cream container. A new log book has been added to the cache. We have now replaced the container (Oct 8, 2012) since it was leaking water with a 1 litre bottle wrapped in duct tape. It now has a log book, several pins, a golf tee and ball marker and other small items.
