The cache is a short beautiful hike, afterwards you can drive to the top, take a short but fairly steep hike and enjoy the view from the top of Giant's Head Mountain!
Best place to begin is the parking area just before the gate, it is difficult to stop on the road once you pass through the gate and it can be tricky trying to turnaround on the road to the top of the mountain; best to drive right to the top and enjoy the view after passing through the gate! (After finding the cache of course!)
(Trailers & motorhomes are prohibited on the road to the top, but you can park them in the parking area before the gate and hike the short distance to the cache!)
We try to keep all items in the cache to a Maple Leaf theme! Hence the name... ;-)
The cache is a rectangular storage container with a variety of maple leaf themed items.
