Geocache Description:


This is a four-stage multi cache located on the campus of Grand Valley State University.
Located at each stage is information you will need to find to get the coordinates for the next stage. The fourth and final stage is a log-only camouflaged micro cache. Please use stealth when retrieving the final, as muggle activity on campus will be high at times.

The above coordinates will take you to stage 1, which is a campus directory sign. Use the sign and the following formula to find stage 2: N 42°AA.B0C W085°XX.YZZ

AA = Seidman House Lemmen Library
B = N Living Center B
C = Multipurpose Facility / Football Center
XX = Soccor Fields
Y = Service Building
ZZ = Mackinac Hall

Stage 3 is located at N 42°AA.BBB W085°WX.YYZ

AA = Find the Bible verse inscribed on the north side of Stage 2. Add the book and verse numbers together and subtract 44.
BBB = Last three digits of year Stage 2 was built – 230

The next four digits coincide with letters of the alphabet (a=1, b=2, c=3, etc)
Locate the quote on the south side of stage 2
W = Fifth letter in author’s last name
X = First letter of name of stage 2
YY = First letter of author’s first name + second letter of author’s first name
Z = Fourth letter of author’s last name

Stage 4 is located at N 42°AB.CCC W085°XY.ZZX

A = Month Stage 3 was dedicated - 4
B = Day Stage 3 was dedicated + 2
CCC = Last three digits of year Stage 3 was dedicated – 697

The next three digits coincide with letters of the alphabet (a=1, b=2, c=3, etc)
X = Fifth letter of artist’s last name
Y = First letter of artist’s last name
ZZ = Second letter of artist’s last name
