Geocache Description:

A single layer puzzle cache, built to be solved and found. Whilst setting the cache we have seen a large amount of wildlife, most notably deer. A quiet approach, particularly at dusk, should provide you with the same pleasure.

This puzzle continues the recently developed theme of the communications industry on the hills to the south of Bristol (see GC139HR).

The Research and Development facility of the Swedish telecoms giant - "Holsen Corporation" - is hidden from prying eyes above Backwell. It was originally developed during W.W.2. and is still protected by pillboxes and cameras. It has had several owners from the Post Office, through British Telecoms, to the present owners who of course need no introduction!

Views are good from near the transmissions enclosure (see Waypoint 1), looking across to Wraxall/Tyntesfield and also from near the cache site to the Welsh hills.

The coordinates at the top of the page are suggested generous roadside parking, away from the farm and local industry. Circular routes of varying lengths are available from this point.

All information required to find the cache is given here:

Good luck and please note that no 'Flumpties' were harmed (yet) in the inspiration and making of this cache!!!
