Corporate irresponsibility series Manchester #3
This cache is about as close as you can get to being on the Shameless set without being one of the cast. Is placed just off a public footpath between an old derelict cottage and the 'housing estate' built for the new series. Quite what a cottage is doing in the middle of this industrial park is a bit of a mystery. If anyone knows the history of it please leave comments. Also around the corner you can see the 'inside' of one of the houses and the pretend police station.
Parking is freely available nearby but watch for the double-yellow lines. Best time to visit is the evening or weekend as it's very quiet then apart from the odd pedestrian taking a shortcut down the path from Tesco to the nearby hospital and beyond.
The cache is a small sandwich clip n' seal box large enough for coins and a few odds and ends. You'll need to be quite nimble to get to it and be careful of the brambles and nettles.
