Geocache Description:

this should be a fairly easy cache. this is located behind the former Ford Plant in norfolk.

This is a memorial cache. Fords been a long time icon for the hampton roads area. this is of course part of great scotts HR Alphabet soup series but i guess its also part of my car series. Ford started assembling fords back in 1925. When it started up, they were assembling both cars and trucks. In 1974, ford switched to only assembling F150s.
The closure will affect not only the thousands of ford workers but it will also affect a bunch of other local bussinesss. On thursday the 28th of June, ford assembled their last vehicle ever. Ford will be greatly missed. Ive started this cache with a few ford matchbox cars. try and keep the trade items ford related.
