Geocache Description:


This cache is located on the trail that connects Kingsport's Bays Mountain Park and Church Hill's Laurel Run Park. You can approach from either but the hike will be shorter if you start in Laurel Run. It is about a 2.5 mile hike from the parking lot there. Your journey will take you across many creeks and by some very pretty waterfalls. There will also be a significant elevation change on you trek of about 700 feet or more. Dress appropriately as the first part of the trails in Laurel Run tend to have a few muddy areas. There are three other caches that you can choose to do on you way to this one.

The cache you seek is a regular sized ammo can filled with plenty of swag and a three travel bugs to start. Please place the cache back just as you found it so that all cachers can have the same experience you did. Always watch for muggles but this trail is not one of the more popular so most will not ever see one. Good Luck and Happy Hunting.
