Geocache Description:

Nice easy cache within the City limits of Yellowknife

The cache container is a clear snap lock container located in a city park in Yellowknife. We were on a visit to see family and since we live North of Hwy 7 in Ontario and were travelling North of 60 we decided to leave a cache in the area. No bushwaking or rock climbing required for this one - should be accessible for everyone. The park offers a great view of Yellowknife Bay and the lake beyond. It's also close to the ice road - not sure yet how accessible it will be in winter - we'll update.
When placed the cache contained:
- Signal Geocoin - Homeward Bound
- Camera - take a shot of your find and we'll post the photos
- log book and pencils (it gets cold up here!)
- nail brush
- nail stickers
- I love Canada Moose
- shoelaces
- fishing lure
- Caterpillar Pooh
- Mole Pooh
- After Bite wipes - the bugs are bad!!!
