Geocache Description:

This is a hike from a bus stop to the nice beach at Anse Georgette on the island Praslin, Seychelles. The cache is hidden close to the trail.

Officially, the beach at Anse Georgette can only be reached by boat. Nevertheless, it is not forbidden to walk there, but depending on the weather and the visibility of the path this can take 2-3 hours. Take enough water with you, also for your way back, since there are neither shops nor cafés at the beach. You can reach the beach (waypoint 9) just by following the waypoints listed below. The first waypoint is very close to the final bus station ( click here for time table) at ‘Mount Plaisir’.

For finding the cache, however, you need to answer the questions listed for the waypoints 1-5, which will associate the letters A-E with the correct numbers. The painting below is a mosaic of all necessary stages.... unfortunately the most important parts have been forgotten, so there is no other way for you than visiting the original sites. Nevertheless the painting surely is helpful.

The coordinates of the cache are then calculated as follows (each pair of brackets encloses one digit):

S 04° 1(2*B+1).(A+2*C-3)(D-1)(B+E-4)

E 055° 4(A-C).(D*E)(3*A-C*D)(2*E-1)
