Geocache Description:

Cache is accessible off County Rd 49 in the Chippewa National Forest and is located within walking distance of Duck Lake’s public access. The drive on the forest access road is rugged and narrow in spots. Bear to the right when the access road forks, the left fork is a driveway for a private residence.

Duck Lake is known for its Large Mouth Bass population. Enjoy the tranquil view from the lake’s landing. Campers will occasionally overnight here and you may see a firepit or two in the area around the landing.

The cache container is a standard .50 cal ammo can and initially contained a logbook, FF dollar, Travel Bug and several fun items related to the cache’s location. Enjoy and Happy Geocaching!!
