Geocache Description:

Easy park, picnic, and grab

This is our second cache. We intentionally made it easy for families with children to get outside together without risking injury or encounters with snakes and poison plants, etc.

This is a very nice picnic area just off a main road. This is a historical location of what's called Mountain House in the National Forest. You can read about it when you get on location. We grilled some hot dogs while the kids played in the grass. You can also follow a trail or the main road up to Confederate Breastworks which is further up the mountain.

Please bring your own writing tool, your family, and some picnic fare. Enjoy!
