Cache is a pre-form at the end of the trail. N Saanich has been doing some nice work on this trail. Come and enjoy the fruits of their labours. Remember to note the "D is #??" to fill in another missing co-ordinate for "String of Pearls - The Clasp"
The neighbours have been expressing disapproval of having people hanging about the trail, so we moved the cache and I'll give very specific directions so this is an easy find. Go to the bench and admire the view. You don't need to climb over the fence. The cache is tucked in under the bottom rail of the fence, on the right hand corner
The String of Pearls caches have been placed to celebrate the string of gorgeous beaches along the N.W. Saanich Peninsula shore. North Saanich has done sterling work putting in public beach accesses to these gems, and the least we can do is visit them:) Low tide is best. There are nine caches in this series, and this is the fourth. The trail head for this one is easy to miss so the co-ordinates for parking are N 48 40.737 W 123 28.975
This one is a small rocky beach with HUGE views. Enjoy..and respect the neighbours please.
