This cache has been archived.

Phil-n-Dave: After many years of service, sadly it's gone missing. Again. Going on the number of visits it's not had over the last year, We've decided to archive it.

Geocache Description:

Abbots' Wood derives its name from the time of Henry I, when the woods were given to the abbot at Battle Abbey, which isn't too far from here.

These days there aren't too many monks wandering around, but there's plenty of wildlife. We've spotted deer from time to time, wild strawberries in the summer and blackberries in the autumn.

After being well and truly muggled, the cache is now a 35mm film canister.
