This first inaugral event was inspired by the wickedly evil
(read: incredibly difficult) multi cache
GC13W86 "AMIAT...oh, hum" which galvanized the Kingston
geocaching community to conquer this cache. Many risked poison oak
exposure, run-ins with police and almost certain marital discord
(not to mention countless hours of time) to solve this one.
In response, KAG has organized this group meeting to help those who
are still in recovery. Nothing like some nachos and Corona to speed
it along!
As mentioned, we hope to make this a regular event, where
cachers can get together over a meal, and exchange stories, trade
TBs, discover coins and learn tips from fellow cachers. New people
to the sport are very welcome to attend. We would love to welcome
you to your new addiction! It will begin at 6:30 PM (1830) and it
will be very casual. Free to free to drop in for a drink if you
can't make it for dinner. Cachers of all ages are welcome.
Location: Tamales
(upstairs at The Lone Star)
251 Ontario Street
Kingston, Ontario
Phone: 613-548-8888 |
If you plan to attend, please post a "Will
Attend" log and indicate the number in your party so we can give
the restaurant an idea of numbers.
Tamales opens at 6:30, and there is no specific reservation for
us. Just look for tables full of rowdy cachers, and join in the
fun. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
