Our team placed this cache after viewing the fireworks from a nearby location.
The area near this cache offered us a nice view of DC's fireworks in 2007. The boy decided this location was good for a small cache. The Washington Monument and Air Force Memorial can also be seen from this location.
The terrain and difficulty ratings are up a bit because you will need to do some walking to get to the cache. Also, it is not in a location you can easily access from the road. There is not a safe place to park near the cache. You can park at the parking waypoint and safely walk to the cache.
The cache has room for small trade items and/or geocoins. You'll need your own writing implement.
