A nice walk in the most visited park of Sweden.

Hagaparken ligger i Solna norr om Stockholm och är Sveriges mest
besökta park. Den byggdes i slutet av 1700-talet på uppdrag av
Gustav III och är idag en poulär promenad- och picknickpark.
Hagaparken ingår också i Ekoparken, världens första
nationalstadspark.
Vägen från startpunkten till den slutliga cachen är mellan 2 och 3
kilometer lång, så var beredd på att det tar en stund. Vägarna är,
förutom de tio sista metrarna, utmärkta asfalt- eller grusvägar, så
det går utan problem att putta en barnvagn eller cykla i princip
hela vägen, även om det är lite backigt (särskilt en lång backe i
slutet).
Observera också att man måste räkna en del för att hitta lådan, och
att siffror man får i ett steg kan dyka upp i senare steg.
Steg 1
Vid utgångspunkten finner du en sten, rest av Stockholms
Universitet, med bland annat en karta över Ekoparken. På kartan är
ett antal platser utskrivna med guldbokstäver.
Antalet namn skrivna med guld = A
När du står framför stenen, med näsan mot kartan, har du en gavel
av Stallmästaregården till höger om dig. På denna gavel finns ett
antal runda fönster uppe på taket.
Antalet runda fönster = B
B - 2 = X

Steg 2
Här finner du en informationsskylt med information om den så
kallade Grottan. I den svenska texten finns ett årtal.

Steg 3
På denna udde ligger bland annat Haga Slott och Gustav III:s
Paviljong, men det är byggnaden på kullen du ska sikta in dig på.
Ekotemplet är byggdes som utomhusmatsal åt Gustav III och har fått
sitt namn efter ett akustiskt fenomen som sägs finnas i
templet.
Om du och en annan person ställer er med näsan mot varsin pelare
som står mittemot varandra och viskar kommer ni höra varandra,
medan en person som står i mitten av templet inte kommer att höra
någonting. En bit upp på varje pelare finns blåa blommor målade.
Hur många sådana blommor finns det på varje pelare? Räkna alla fyra
sidor!

Steg 4
Du bör nu befinna dig framför 3 stora hus, som kallas Koppartälten.
På det mittersta tältets vägg finns symboler som ser ut som
rutersymboler från jättestora spelkort. Räkna bara symbolerna på
framväggen!

För att hitta den slutliga gömman krävs nu bara en uträkning
till:

Lådan är utplacerad med en noggrannhet på 5 meter. Notera dock att
GPS-mottagningen är dålig runt gömman, så det kan fladdra en hel
del.

Hagaparken is situated in Solna north of Stockholm and is the most
visited park in Sweden. It was built in the late 1700s on the
comission of the Swedish king Gustav III and is still today a
popular park to stroll or picnic in. Hagaparken also is a part of
Ekoparken, the first national city park of the world.
The hike from the starting point is somewhere between 2 and 3
kilometers (1.3 - 2 miles), so be prepared that it will take a
while. The ways are, except for the last few meters, asphalted or
gravelled and in excellent condition, so there shouldn't be any
problem to pull a stroller or ride a bike the entire way, even if
there a few slopes (especially one pretty long towards the end of
the hike).
You should also be aware that there will be some calculating to
find the box, and that the numbers you find in one step might be
used later on.
Step 1
At the starting point you will find a stone erected by the
Stockholm University, that one one side has a map of Ekoparken
painted on it. On this map there is names a few places written with
golden letters. Note that one name can consist of two words. (It
should be pretty obvious nevertheless)
The number of places written in golden = A
When you stand in front of the stone, facing the map, you will have
one wall of the restaurant Stallmästaregården on your right hand
side. On this wall there are a number of circular windows up on the
roof.
The number of windows = B

Step 2
Here you will find an information sign with information about the
so called Grottan (the cave). In the Swedish text there is a number
of a year written.

Step 3
On this cape you will see Haga slott (Haga castle) and Gustav III:s
paviljong (The pavilion of Gustav III), but you should concentrate
on the building on the hill. Ekotemplet (The Echo Temple) was built
as an outdoor dining room for Gustav III and is named after an
acoustic phenomena that is said to be found in the temple.
If you and another person place yourselves facing opposite pillars
and whipser, you will hear each other, but someone standing in the
middle won't hear anything. Towards the top of every pillar there
are blue flowers painted. How many flowers are there on each
pillar? Count all four sides!

Step 4
You should now be standing in front of three large houses, called
Koppartälten (The Copper Tents). On the wall of the middle tent
there are symbols looking like the diamond symbol of giant playing
cards. Only count the symbols on the front wall!

One last calculation to find the final cache:

The cache is placed with an accuracy of 5 meters. Please note the
reception might be pretty bad in the area, and that the GPS might
spin around pretty wildly.
