A short, scenic stroll along a boardwalk linking the "wooded" side of the island to the "ocean" side. You will have to leave the boardwalk, so some climbing is required. This is a beautiful spot all the time, but especially at night. There may be less of a muggle presence then as well, but don't count on it.
This cache is named after my two hounds and is placed along the route of our nightly stroll to the beach. The name refers not only to the hounds love of climbing into any drainage ditch they find, but also the water you'll cross on the way to the cache. Realtors love to call it the "canal", but to the rest of us it remains the Davis Ditch.
The cache is a large Lock-n-Lock filled with things a geohound might like. You may stick with that theme, or not. Please no cat stuff, though. That would just be wrong.
Congrats on cantyscorner First FTF on my first cache. Here's hoping it's not the last for either of us. :)
