Fun by the Forkful! The Taste of Buffalo is the second largest in the country--outdone only by Chicago (which runs for a full week). It's an event that's sure to please the tastebuds. Started in 1983, it's held in the heart of the city the 2nd weekend of July. It features over 70 venues and over 450,000 attendees taste culinary delites from barbecue reubens, Junkyard Dogs (loaded fish sandwich), Sabzi Pakora (vegetable fritters), crabcakes, Baklava, pierogi, corned beef w/whiskey sauce, Jerk Chicken, catfish nuggets, along with popular favorites: roast beef sandwiches, quesadilla's, chicken wings, pizza and ice cream.
This cache is placed in the area where the Taste of Buffalo is held.
