[NO]I denne parken sammles folk i alle aldere fra hele Oslo. Det
ikke så menge veit er at "6 feet under" ligger det 60.000 døde.
Sofienbergparken ble kjøpt av Christiania kommune i 1857 og tatt i
bruk som gravplass i 1858. I 1915 kom det første kravet fra folket
om at det var lite gunstig å ha en kirkegård så nære tett
bebyggelse og i 1920 begynte kommunen å gjøre det om til park. Men
det var ikke før 1972 at hele området var ferdigstilt som
park.
Den delen cachen er i er det eneste gjenværende av kirkegården og
er en jødisk gravplass. Av jødisk lov er en gravplass evig og skal
derfor få stå i fred. Dette er den første jødiske gravplassen i
Norge og ble opprettet i 1869 og brukt frem til 1917. Hvordan denne
lille plassen overlevde nazistenes herjinger under krigen har jeg
ikke klart å finne ut av.
Cahen er en filmboks og inneholder kun log og blyant.

Sofienbergparken was bought by Christiania city council i 1857 and
used as a cemetery from 1858. In 1915 the people started to demand
that it was redone as a public park since it was so close to where
alot of people were living, and in 1920 the city council started to
redo the whole area. It took severeal years and it was all done in
1972.
The area where the cashe resides is in the only surviving part of
the cemetary. This area was used from 1869 to 1917 as a jewish
cemetery and acording to jewish laws you cant disturb a jewish
grave for all eternity. I have not been able to find out why the
nazis left this little area untouched during the war.
The cache is a film canister and has only a log and a pencil in it.
